What Vatt costs
The subscription is based on the number of metering points: the more you connect, the less each additional one costs. Implementation is paid once per building. All prices exclude taxes.

Each point is billed at the rate of its band: the first 50 points at one price, the next ones for less.

Implementation

A one-off fee covering up to 40 metering points; each additional point is $75.

- Gateways: about $600 per gateway for 16 points, bought from the supplier
- New meters and their installation, where they cannot be avoided

Your own server
Licence on request
For companies that must keep data inside their own network. Same features; updates are installed by agreement.
Linux server: 4 vCPU, 16 GB RAM and 500 GB SSD per 1,000 metering points.
Common questions
What counts as a metering point?
Any device or channel Vatt receives data from: an electricity meter, a heat meter, an HVAC controller channel. Virtual meters, meaning sums or differences of other points, are free.
Do we need to replace our meters?
Usually not. Meters with RS-485, M-Bus or Ethernet interfaces work, and older devices connect through a pulse output. After the survey you get a list of points and know where a replacement cannot be avoided.
Can we start with one building?
Yes. There is no minimum number of buildings; the subscription starts from the first metering point.
Is equipment control included?
Yes, the automation module is part of the subscription. Writing to controllers is enabled per device after sign-off from the maintenance team; until then Vatt only reads data.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
Within 30 days after the subscription ends we export the full reading history to CSV, then delete it from the cloud.
